Cookies and browser storage
Every cookie and browser-storage item LuluSkill uses today, and why. None of them is for advertising or tracking; the advertising cookies Google would add later are described separately.

This page is a notice, not a consent tool
LuluSkill does not run a consent management platform today, and this page does not ask for, collect or record consent. LuluSkill sets no advertising or analytics cookies: its visit statistics work without cookies, as described below. Before any advertising cookie can be set, Google’s consent message will be in place, as the advertising section below explains.
Cookies in use
Every cookie below is strictly necessary for the site to work or to remember a choice you made. None of them is used to follow you across other websites.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Lifetime |

__Host-luluskill-test-gate | LuluSkill server | Remembers that you entered the access code for LuluSkill’s restricted test and management pages. Ordinary visitors never receive it. | 15 minutes |
skillatlas.locale | This site, in your browser | Remembers the language you chose. | 365 days |
skillatlas.theme | This site, in your browser | Remembers the colour scheme you chose. | 365 days |
| Clerk sign-in cookies (__session, __client_uat, __clerk_handshake, and variants of these names with a suffix) | Clerk (sign-in service), on luluskill.com and clerk.luluskill.com | Strictly necessary for sign-in: they keep you signed in and let the site confirm your session. Browser storage
Your language and colour-scheme choices are also kept in your browser’s local storage, under the same names as the cookies, so the site can show them before it contacts the server. Nothing that identifies you is kept there, and no secret or credential is ever stored in the browser.
One more item is optional. If you tick “Remember on this device” in the “About you” step, your answers are kept in local storage under the name luluskill:about-you. It holds only the choices you tapped — your role, how you use AI, how comfortable you are with code, which AI tools you have, and your computer’s operating system, memory and graphics — with no name, no typed text and no secret, and it is never sent to LuluSkill. It stays until you choose “Forget my answers”, untick the box, or clear this site’s data in your browser.
Statistics without cookies
LuluSkill measures page views and page speed with Cloudflare Web Analytics, whose small script every page loads from static.cloudflareinsights.com, and counts product actions, such as copying a prompt, anonymously on its own server. Neither sets a cookie or writes to your browser’s storage, which is why neither appears in the table above. The Cloudflare script is not an advertising script and does not wait for the advertising consent message. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, the product counts are not sent. The privacy notice explains what is and is not measured.
Google advertising cookies (not in use yet)
None of the Google cookies in this section is set today, and none is listed in the table above. Google AdSense is disabled. Adcash has separate consent and processing described in the Adcash notice below. The first-party luluskill-adcash-choice cookie records a version, allow/reject choice and date for up to 180 days; it can be set even when you reject advertising.
Once advertising is switched on, Google may set:
- Google advertising cookies, on luluskill.com (for example __gads, __gpi and __eoi) and on Google’s own advertising domains. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland they are set only if you consent; elsewhere, only after Google’s consent tool has answered. They are used to serve and measure ads, limit how often you see the same ad, detect fraud and, if you allow it, personalise ads based on your visits to this and other websites.
- A cookie set by Google’s consent message when it is shown (for example FCCDCF), which remembers your choice — including a refusal — so you are not asked again on every page.
- The advertising and consent scripts would load only on the Learn overview and its articles, never on sign-in, account, project, Studio or these legal pages. Google decides the names and lifetimes of its cookies and may change them; its own cookie page lists the current ones.
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, and visitors whose location cannot be determined, will see Google’s consent message (Google Privacy & messaging, which uses the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework) before any advertising script loads. If you do not consent, no advertising script loads and no advertising cookie is set. Elsewhere, the advertising script also waits for the consent tool’s answer before it loads.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time. A “Privacy and cookie settings” link will be added when the consent message goes live, so you can reopen it; deleting this site’s cookies in your browser also clears your choice, and the message asks again. You can also turn off personalised ads from Google in Google’s Ads Settings.
What is not here today
- Google advertising cookies are not used. Adcash scripts require explicit permission.
- No personalized advertising before permission or after rejection.
- First-party visit statistics are cookieless. Optional Adcash processing is described separately.
Your control
You can delete these cookies and this storage in your browser settings at any time. Doing so resets your language and colour scheme on this device, forgets any “About you” answers you asked this device to remember, ends an access-code session and signs you out. It does not delete your account; the privacy notice explains how to ask for that.

Advertising on public pages
Public reading pages load Adcash Display advertising by default when serving is enabled. No first-visit advertising prompt is shown. Adcash and its advertising partners may process IP addresses, device identifiers and cookies to select and measure personalized ads. Automatic loading does not create a record that you consented. Use Advertising privacy settings in the footer to turn advertising off or on. If you make a choice, a cookie stores only a version, on/off choice and date for up to 180 days. Saved rejection, Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals stop Adcash requests. All tools remain available when advertising is off. Turning it off stops future requests; partner-held data is subject to the partner’s privacy policy and rights process.
Studio, run approval, sign-in, security reviews, private projects, prompt editing, settings and file previews have no third-party advertising. Public reading may display ads by default whether you are signed in or not. Documents carrying URL parameters remain excluded. Private task tools open in a separate document before you enter answers. Third-party creatives use their provider’s original links and tracking; site-authored sponsorship links use the controlled sponsored redirect. An ad element entering the viewport is a site observation, not a confirmed paid impression.
