Result

Define the habits, the daily check-in screen and the progress view clearly enough for an AI assistant to build a first version for one phone platform.

Example outcome — three screens (today, habit list, progress), a data model that stays on the phone, the notification rules, and a first-version scope. This is an example plan, not a published app.

Steps

  1. Write down each habit and what counts as done for the day.
  2. Sketch the "today" screen first: every habit, one tap to check it off.
  3. Decide what the progress view shows, such as a streak or the last 30 days.
  4. Keep data on the device for the first version, and decide what happens if the app is deleted.
  5. Ask the assistant for a first version, then use it yourself for a week before adding features.

Checks

  • Checking off a habit takes one tap from the home screen.
  • A missed day is shown honestly, not hidden.
  • The app works with no network connection.
  • Reminders can be turned off inside the app.

Limits

  • Publishing to an app store has its own review, fees and rules, which this template does not cover.
